Gosford House is a palatial mansion located in East Lothian, a stone-throw away from the Scottish capital and on the shores of East Lothian’s golf coast. If you are after a historic property with a little bit extra for your incentive day, look no further! This venue serves as the perfect backdrop for Highland Games in Scotland.
Commissioned by the Wemyss family in the late 1700s, the house has remained in the family ownership since its initial completion in 1800. Intended as an entertainment palace, it still serves its purpose to this day, welcoming international awards dinners, incentive days and gala dinners.
The interior spaces offer a lot of flexibility, with a stunning Marble Hall for a wow factor on arrival. Surrounded by cosy sitting rooms complemented by a traditional panelled dining room. The Saloon is ideal for a more rustic and relaxed feel.
Corporate Events
Nestled within 5,000 acres of estate grounds, Gosford is a fantastic setting both for small and large corporate events. Still used as a family home to this day, dinners under 10 guests are a regular occurrence. This allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the property and discover its incredible art collection. It is still one of the greatest in Northern Europe and contains works by Rodin, Poussin & Canaletto to name a few. On the upper floor, large historic rooms allow us to host plated meals for up to 230 seated in the house.
On the back of the house, the extensive lawn allows clients to host large-scale corporate team-building activities and also large corporate fun days of 500+ can also be hosted with additional marquee spaces. Beyond the stables, a circular pond is a perfect invitation to unwind, or maybe host your next treasure hunt.
