Team Building Events
The team had an amazing day delivering our Highland Games package to the AU Bureau team at the fantastic Gosford House!
We loved showing all of the Scottish traditions and giving an insight into the different Highland Games! Our delegates had travelled from France and loved the Scottish music, dancing, and all the famous games such as archery and caber toss! A lot of fun was had by all, and the team loved delivering this great event.
Highland Games
The 16 teams rotated around the event and took part in each of the stations. Team 6 showed outstanding strength in our Stone Throw activity, as they had the highest scores of the day for this – great effort! There was also some spot-on accuracy in Team 2 as they got the first bullseye of the event as the rest of the team cheered them on. This was brilliant to see everyone working together to achieve a common goal and celebrating each team member along the way. This is something that we really focus on at Event Collection, so we were delighted to deliver these events building on these skills.
All of the groups showed true determination in our Weight over Bar competition, as we saw some ‘soaring’ scores! Team 1 had the most successful throws in a round, which put them in good stead for the overall scores!
Fun and Engaging Activities
We then had our Tug of War finale, the win was between Team 1 and Team 9 - it was so close, but team 1 was victorious! Overall, there was amazing teamwork and communication from all of the teams, we were super impressed – so well done everybody.
