Crime Scene Investigation: The Future of Team-Building with Event Collection
A few weeks ago, our team delivered a brand-new event at the Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen. As a result, we launched our first Crime Scene Investigation Team Building activity, and clients loved it. Engaging CSI Team Building Experience in Aberdeen
To kick off the day, we designed this event as a true CSI masterclass. Teams practiced real crime scene investigation techniques, including fingerprinting. Additionally, groups chose creative names such as the Jokers, Killer Queen’s, and It Wasn’t Me. Everyone enjoyed hands-on learning, especially when lifting fingerprints. Not surprisingly, our clients and team members found the process fascinating.
During the session, participants asked questions like, “How do you avoid leaving fingerprints?” Clearly, their curiosity showed how engaged they felt throughout the experience.
Immersive Crime Scene Investigation Activities and Problem Solving
After the masterclass, we guided teams through the evidence collection process and explained key investigative steps. Each group received a file outlining the characters, relationships, and case details. Consequently, teams analysed a realistic crime scene, used fingerprinting and DNA profiling, and pieced together all the facts.
Meanwhile, our team leaders Bob, Kirsty, Courtney, and David awarded points for investigative skills, teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving.
Team Building Challenge Results: Solving the Mystery
At the end of the event, each team presented their findings. Because teams applied what they learned, several groups managed to solve the mystery. In fact, three groups cracked the case using both their knowledge and teamwork. After tallying the points, the Jokers earned the top spot and won the challenge.
