Located on the banks of the River Tay, V&A Dundee is an exceptional location for hosting unique and engaging events. The world-class building offers various interchangeable spaces around the current museum exhibitions. The exhibitions are ideal to entertain staff and clients or host a private celebration. These include the auditorium, Lower Locke Hall & Upper Foyer, and Tatha Bar & Kitchen. These spaces within the V&A are brilliant for event packages such as our ‘Big Mix Up’ Quiz.  Begin your event with a drinks and canape reception in the Lower Locke Hall. This is an impressive space with stepped walls permeated by slot windows to create a unique environment which immediately instils a true sense of place. Your guests can then make your way upstairs to the Upper Foyer, situated between the galleries. Located on the upper level with views towards the east of the city. This is a bright, airy space with high ceilings and a flexible layout. It has been designed to allow use for a variety of corporate events, including seminars, workshops, lectures, meetings, and performances. Adjacent to the main restaurant kitchen, a full catering service can be provided. This can be done within this space with the option of using the Learning Room as a break-out area.  

Whether it's a small dinner for 10 or a party for 120, Tatha Bar & Kitchen makes the perfect location for your celebration. Imagine holding a celebration at the world-renowned V&A Dundee. With the views,  food, ambience, and of course the company to ensure it is a night never to be forgotten. The adjoining Allen Terrace is perfect for enjoying drinks on a sunny summer evening whilst watching the sunset. Tatha Bar & Kitchen is available for your celebrations 7 days a week. This depends on availability.  Having a meal and drinks reception in the Tatha Bar area is the perfect way to either begin a night of entertainment or finish off a day of events.
