Aberdeen Science Centre offers one of the most unique, inspiring and versatile team-building venue options in Aberdeen. The centre is available for exclusive venue hire, room hire, and corporate, social, and private events.
After a recent multi-million transformation, our venue offers a range of spaces, equipped with high-tech AV for in-person or hybrid events. ASC boasts a modern, fully accessible space with three purpose-built meeting rooms and has a split-level upper exhibition floor which can be redefined as a conference, exhibition or drinks reception space.
Our Proton/Neutron Room can accommodate around 80 delegates in a theatre-style set-up, whilst our Upper Exhibition Floor can transform into a conference space for up to 200 or a drinks reception space for 300 delegates. We can tailor the spaces to suit your needs, whether you’re planning a board meeting or recruitment fair, team-building day or academic talk, AGM drinks reception or 60th birthday celebration, or anything in between.
Corporate Events
Our exhibition floor offers a creative and entertaining space where guests can engage with over 60 interactive exhibits including talking with our chatty humanoid robot, visiting the one-of-a-kind immersive OPITO Theatre of Energy, building circuits and creating their movies. The exhibits on the Upper Exhibition Floor can be moved, leaving you with a blank canvas if this is best for your event; or, leave them in place and watch your delegates unleash the power of curiosity.
You will have a dedicated event organiser at Aberdeen Science Centre who will arrange your catering through our catering partner and onsite cafe, Grub Fresh Food. From light bites to banqueting and everything in between, your food will be freshly prepared using local suppliers.
We offer room hire-only rates, for both full- and half-day, as well as day delegate rate packages and evening hire.
Located just a five-minute drive from the city centre, close to Aberdeen Beach, with free onsite parking we are an easy option for your guests.
Working with the Aberdeen Science Centre, we can offer a vast range of different events. Using the meeting rooms and other spaces on site, we can host our amazing quizzes, fun-filled with different activities for the delegates to embark on!

We can also deliver indoor teambuilding events, using the different floors within the Science Centre to bring your event to life. Having a bigger space on the exhibition floor makes it perfect for both bigger and smaller team-building groups alike and means that we can host a variety of different types of team-building games and activities.
